Managed Services Definitions
Our technicians routinely scan all servers for security holes and vulnerabilities before they are placed on our network. There are new holes discovered regularly. For this reason, FSIWebs
can conduct a vulnerability scan of your server, at the conclusion of each scan, you will receive a report via email detailing the results of the scan, as well as a recommended course of action to remedy the situation.

FSIWebs currently offers Cisco System PIX 501 Firewalls to handle our client's security needs. The Cisco PIX 501 Firewall delivers enterprise-class security in a reliable, plug-and-play security appliance. The Cisco PIX Firewall provides robust security capabilities, small office networking features and powerful remote management capabilities in a compact, all-in-one solution. The integrated intrusion protection capabilities of the PIX 501 can protect your server from many popular forms of attacks. Looking for over 55 different attack "signatures," PIX keeps a vigilant watch for attacks and optionally blocks them or posts real time notification

All Administration Services are performed during regular
business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM EST. Any services rendered
during off hours will be billed separately at a rate of
$200 /hour.
Managed Firewall definition: Managed firewall services include adding
and editing rules for ingress and egress as requested, during normal
business hours only.
VPN setup/administration is billable and contracted separately with
both managed and unmanaged solutions. |
The Cisco PIX 501 includes complete management support, allowing an administrator to securely access and manage the devices. VPN functionality is built-in, and all management can be encrypted to facilitate secure remote management.
- Browser-based management via the PIX Device Manager
- Command Line Interface accessible in-band via console port, Telnet and SSH
- Provides remote monitoring and logging capabilities, with integration into Cisco and third-party management applications
- Supports the broad range of Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data) partner solutions that provide URL filtering, content filtering, virus protection, scalable remote management, and more
The PIX 501 supports 3,500 concurrent TCP/IP sessions and 5 active VPN peers. It also offers near wire-speed firewall and 3DES performance over it's four 10Base-T ports.
Note - Clients will not be able to access their firewalls if FSIWebs has been contracted to manage them.
