FSIWebs Remote Backup Desktop provides online backup and
recovery for PCs and laptops at large or small businesses. FSIWebs
Remote Backup Desktop features innovative disk-to-disk technology designed
to provide users with the functionality and price point that best suits
their business.
FSIWebs Remote Backup Desktop technology can be utilized as an online backup
and recovery service, leveraging existing infrastructure and Internet
connections, to get data off-site to one of EVault’s secure data
centers. FSIWebs Remote Backup Desktop agents may also be licensed for those
that need to fill a critical hole in data protection for larger
businesses with remote offices, laptops and personal computers not
always on a network.
Users have the option to encrypt the data stored on the storage vault
using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). Even if the encryption option
is not selected, the data is still encrypted during transmission over
the Internet to the electronic vault.
Perfect for the road warrior – If a scheduled backup has been missed
because a user is offline or on the road, the agent can be configured to
run automatically when a network connection is available.
